In 2003, the California Office of Traffic Safety awarded funding to Injury Prevention Services, to establish a mini grant opportunity for community based organizations in Riverside County. In doing this, our goal is to give non profit organizations a chance to develop programs that increase awareness on the importance of traffic safety for their community.

Three types of grants will be awarded this funding cycle, including activity, educational expansion, and equipment grants. They will range from $10,000 to $40,000. The official Request For Proposal packet will be released in February 2004.
