The California Office of Traffic Safety awarded two year funding to Injury Prevention Services to implement a comprehensive traffic safety program for Riverside County. The goal of the program is to educate children from elementary age to high school on the importance of traffic safety. Injury Prevention Services has over nine years experience in providing safety programs to Riverside County, and looks forward to continuing this service to the community.

Under this program, the following services will be provided:

• Car seat education and distribution for children with special needs

• Pedestrian safety for elementary school children

• Bicycle helmet education and distribution

• Night Time visibility campaign
