The low cost car seat program has become a well-recognized system of providing car seats and education to the residents of Riverside County. All attendees receive a forty-five minute education class on the proper use and installation of car seats by trained professionals. After class, each participant will receive a car seat. The program is partly sustained by a $25.00 registration fee required by all attendees, and monies generated from citations given out to car seat violators.

Classes are held at WIC sites throughout Riverside County.
