This service, primarily funded through a grant from Prop 10, allows us to bring car seat checkup events to communities throughout Riverside County. Between 5-15 Certified Technicians will be available from many different local agencies to help inspect child safety seats.

Child safety seats are checked in three basic areas:

1) Is the seat safe to use?

2) Is seat installed securely in the vehicle?

3) Is the child securely fitted into the seat?

We use a standard checklist, covering over 30 items, to check all aspects of your child's safety seat. Most importantly, we make sure the parent or caregiver learns how to install the seat properly.
